SADV strives to bring information about the dangers of violence
to the forefront of our society through education. We believe that education is
the key to the eradication of violence in our society. Communication is a valuable
resource in the fight to end the violence. We must teach our children that violence
is not an acceptable form of self-expression, they must be shown alternatives
to violence. We must communicate the dangers of domestic violence to our family,
friends, and coworkers. Merely talking about domestic violence helps to bring
it out in the open and takes away the veil of taboo that helps to cloak the abusers
of our world.
